What is the Program?
Under California’s Proposition 36, nonviolent drug offenders may be referred to community-based treatment as an alternative to incarceration or probation. Through a contract with the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Counseling Center provides the Court-Mandated Drug Abuse and Alcohol Treatment Program (under the proposition 36 legislation) for individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.
